Priority to students from minority and underrepresented communities
Encourage and attract students to the POWERCERTS Program and support them to complete the workforce training.
Assistantships:
8 Assistantships ($4000 each) per year
Each Assistantship ($4000) lasts for 1 semester, with priority to students from minority and underrepresented communities to gain support through experiential learning.
NJIT will identify projects with industry for students to work on with $4000 Assistantships. The industry may decide to match and supplement the financial support.
Scholarships and Assistantships are sponsored by NJEDA.
